Did you ever feel too broken — like there’s nothing more you can do for yourself?
Let me explain a little more.
You were once the girl who studied so hard, determined to become a successful woman. You didn’t want to live the kind of life you saw around you growing up. You worked hard — really hard — because you refused to settle for being just another “normal” woman in your society. You had dreams in your eyes and ambition in your heart. But still, you were an average student with extraordinary hopes.
Holding On When Your Dreams Start to Hurt
One day, you graduated and started looking for work. One job came and then disappeared. Another one followed, and that too slipped away. Slowly, you began to doubt yourself. Maybe I’m not good enough. Maybe I’m just chasing money. These thoughts started creeping in.
Even then, you didn’t lose hope. You started your own channel — or tried something new. But the hurdles came, one after another. You kept gathering yourself back together, refusing to fully give up. In the middle of this ongoing struggle, you turned to your loved ones and shared your pain. They gave you advice — paths they had followed. You sincerely tried to follow those paths too, but they didn’t work out.
And then, in quiet moments, you remembered the dream you had — the one that pushed you to work so hard in the first place. And now, even with all the struggle, the only choice left is to not stop. You keep going, trying to reach your dream, while also carrying the expectations of those who believe in you.
Sometimes, though, you feel truly alone — like no one really understands what you’re going through.
So what do you do to overcome that?
How do you keep going when your strength feels like it’s slipping?
What I am doing is writing, you can read blogs here on my website. Also, I am reading an amazing book “When you’re ready This is How you Heal” by Brianna Wiest. I am literally loving this as it is too relatable.
