Once Upon a Time…
‘A boy who never shared anything. You know what happened to him?’ Something magical changed his life. One day, after all. But was it a gift or a curse? Let’s find out!”
One day, in a little quiet village, there lived a boy named Zayan. He had everything: the most beautiful toys, the best clothes, and the most tasty food. One problem, though, was that he never shared anything.
A Mysterious Gift
One day, Zayan was playing alone when an older man came and offered him a golden box.
The older man called this a special gift. “Take care, though. It works in a manner you would never think of.”
Zayan never expected what was inside the box. To his shock, however, it was empty.
“What kind of gift is this?” Zayan muttered. His disappointment sank him as he put the box away and went to bed.
Everything Disappears!
Everything Zayan owned disappeared in the night the next morning.
No toys
No clothes
No food
He searched for the old man, but he was nowhere to be found. Zayan had never had anything and never wanted to have anything before.
A Lesson in Kindness
Soon, a poor boy saw him and gave him half of his bread with total compassion.
Then Zayan hesitated and took a small bite. At this moment, he felt warmth, kindness, and sharing for the first time.
He thought to himself, this, this… this feels nice.
Later, Zayan understood that it means nothing if you have everything and don’t share it with others.
The Magic of Giving
Zayan closed his eyes and whispered, “With that I promise to share now on.”
Suddenly, a miracle happened!
His toys reappeared
His clothes came back
His food was restored
And the golden box? It was no longer empty! It was such joyfulness, kindness and magic gifts.
The Moral of the Story
From that day on, Zayan lived by sharing everything he had in him and was happy in his heart.
The world’s finest treasure isn’t what we have but what we give.
